What we do

Based in the Clinical Trials Unit at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, we are a team of researchers, clinicians and data scientists looking to find new ways to prevent bleeding: whether in surgery, through traumatic injury or childbirth. Often this work has involved using tranexamic acid, a blood clot stabiliser that was discovered in Japan in the 1950s.
